# Request merchant credentials

> `POST https://api.kustom.co/accountmanagement/v1/merchants/{merchantId}/credentials-request`

Generates new API credentials (username and password) for the specified merchant.

## Parameters

- `merchantId` (string, path, required) — The unique Kustom merchant identifier.

## Responses

Credentials successfully generated.
