# Supported browsers

The desktop and mobile browser versions Kustom Checkout supports, from Chrome 80 and Safari 13.1 to Android WebView, and what applies to unlisted browsers.

Kustom Checkout supports recent versions of all major browsers. A browser that no longer
receives security updates, and that only a small share of customers still use, isn't
supported: keeping it would weaken the checkout's security for very few people. Some older
versions of evergreen browsers are still supported, but customers get the best experience on
an up-to-date browser.

## Desktop

| Firefox | 74 and later |
| Safari | 13.1 and later |
| Opera | 67 and later |

Internet Explorer isn't supported in any version.

## Mobile

| Safari on iOS, and other iOS browsers and in-app web views that use the system WebKit engine | 13.4 and later |
| Chrome on Android | 80 and later |
| Android WebView | 80 and later |
| Samsung Internet | 13 and later |

## Browsers not listed

A browser that isn't listed above can load the checkout if it supports modern JavaScript
(ES2020), including [optional
chaining](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/JavaScript/Reference/Operators/Optional_chaining).
One that doesn't can't load the checkout at all.

Kustom doesn't test unlisted browsers proactively, but does respond to bug reports about them.

## Reporting a browser issue

If the checkout doesn't work as it should in a specific browser, tell your Kustom support
contact which browser and version it is. Reports like these are how support for a browser
improves.
