# Zero amount order

Zero amount orders occur when a customer enters a voucher or discount code that reduces the order total to zero.

## How it’s done

Visually, no payment methods are shown, but a "Buy" button is active, allowing the purchase to be completed directly.  The confirmation page confirms the purchase with a zero amount order successfully.

Zero amount orders do not require special configuration.
