Get started with Kustom and Litium by following the steps below to create your merchant account, complete verification, and activate Kustom on your platform.

Apply for an agreement with Kustom by filling out the onboarding form at kustom.co via the Get started option located at the top right corner.
Sign in to the Kustom Portal using the email address provided in your application to submit any additional information if requested.
If further information is required, our team will contact you via email.
Upload the required verification documents, such as identification and company registration certificates. Kustom will review and approve your application once verification is complete.
In the Kustom Portal, navigate to Integrations → Generate new credentials.
Make sure to securely save your credentials, as you will need them for platform activation.
To activate Kustom Checkout in Litium, you first need to install and configure the Kustom payment app, and then add Kustom Checkout as a payment method to the relevant channel.
Contact your Litium Solution Partner and ask them to install the Kustom payment app in your Litium solution.
The Kustom payment app must be configured before you can activate Kustom Checkout as a payment method.
Your Litium Solution Partner will help you create a configuration file based on your specific setup and requirements. The configuration file supports a range of settings that affect how Kustom Checkout behaves and appears in your checkout. It also contains your credentials, so it should be handled securely.
Once you have received the configuration file:
- Log in to Litium Backoffice.
- Navigate to Settings → System settings → Apps.
- Select the Kustom payment app in the list.
- Click Edit.
- In the Configuration section, click Select file and upload your configuration file.
- Click Save.
After the app has been configured, you need to activate Kustom Checkout on the relevant channel.
In Litium Backoffice:
- Navigate to Settings → Globalization → Channels.
- Select the appropriate channel in the list.
- Click Edit.
- Open the Countries tab.
- Add the Kustom Checkout payment method for each country where it should be activated.
- Click Save.
Once this is done, Kustom Checkout will be available as a payment method in the selected Litium channel and countries.
