Get started with Kustom Checkout for Nyehandel

Introduction

Step by step guide

  1. Create your Kustom Merchant Account - apply for an agreement with Kustom by filling out the onboarding form at Kustom.co.

  2. Once your application is submitted:

    • Sign in to Kustom Portal with the email used in the application to provide additional information if prompted.
    • If any further information is needed, we'll contact you via email.
  3. Complete verification (KYC). Upload the necessary documents (e.g. ID, registration certificates). Kustom will review and approve your application.

  4. Once approved, you’ll receive your Merchant ID.

  5. Go to your Nyehandel account, click on Kassan (Checkout)

  6. Click Hantera next to Hantera betalsätt (Manage next to Manage payment methods)

  7. Click Installera next to Kustom Checkout

  8. Log in to your Kustom Portal

  9. Generate API keys in the Kustom Portal, as follows:

    • Click Integrations
    • Select Generate new API key
    • Save both the Username and Password in a secure document

  10. Go back to Nyehandel

  11. Enter your Användarnamn (Username)

  12. Enter your Lösenord (Password)

  13. Choose whether age verification should be required at checkout (optional)

  14. Click Install

  15. Done! 🎉

Test your integration

To ensure the integration works correctly, go to your store and:

  • Add a product to the cart
  • Proceed to checkout

If everything is working as expected, the Kustom Checkout should load without interruption.
