Quickbutik lets merchants activate Kustom Checkout directly from the store admin. You can either apply for a new agreement or connect an existing Kustom account using API credentials.
Make sure you have:
- An active Quickbutik store
- Admin access
- Company registration details
- Bank account details (for payouts)
- API credentials (if you already have a Kustom agreement)
To begin activation:
- Log in to your Quickbutik admin.
- Go to Kassa → Betalsätt.
- Locate Kustom Checkout.
- Click Aktivera direkt.

You will now see two options:
- No, create a new agreement
- Yes, enter details (existing agreement)
Select:
- Yes, enter details
You will be prompted to enter:
- API Username
- API Password
These credentials are available in the Kustom Merchant Portal. Once entered, click Activate to connect your store.
Select:
- No, create a new agreement
You will be asked to provide:
- Company name
- Organisation number
- Business category
- Confirmation of Kustom’s terms
After submitting this information, you will be redirected to Kustom’s onboarding form to complete the full application.
During onboarding, Kustom may request additional verification information, such as:
- Company registration details
- Owner / beneficial owner information
- Bank account details
Activation is completed once Kustom has reviewed and approved the application.
Once activated:
- Visit your storefront.
- Add a product to the cart.
- Complete checkout using Kustom Checkout.
- Confirm that:
- The payment succeeds
- You are redirected back to your store
- The order appears in Quickbutik
After activation:
- Payments are processed via Kustom Checkout
- Refunds are handled in the Kustom Merchant Portal
- Payouts are transferred to your registered bank account
- No manual API configuration is required unless you are connecting an existing agreement
