nShift offers nShift Checkout, a standardized tool that enables merchants to provide their customers with delivery options.

Our partnership with nShift allows merchants using nShift Checkout to present their available shipping options directly in Kustom Checkout. nShift provides Kustom with shipping options based on the rules set by the merchant in nShift Checkout.

Integration Steps

nShift Checkout is available in two versions, where both can be integrated with KSA. However, setup steps and the credentials needed for the integration differ depending on which version you are using.

1. Determine your version

  • If you manage nShift Checkout via nShift Delivery → you are using Checkout v1
  • If you manage nShift Checkout via nShift Portal → you are using Checkout v2

2. Configure your shipping options in nShift Checkout

Select the Kustom template when setting up your configuration. This will ensure best KSA compliance and limit available fields to configure to match what can be displayed in KSA.

3. Add your shipping credentials in Kustom Portal

A detailed guide on how to add credentials and set up the shipping integration in Kustom Portal can be found here. Depending on which nShift version you are using (v1 or v2) the credentials will vary.

Checkout v1

Use the following credentials:

  • TMS: nShift/Unifaun DeliveryCheckout (v1)
  • Identifier: first part of the API key"-"the DeliveryCheckout ID
    • Important: make sure to include the hyphen between the two values and that there are no extra spaces anywhere
  • Key: the second part of the API key

The API key is set up/found in nShift Delivery, via: Maintenance > API keys.

  • First part of the API key (used as the first part of the Identifier) refers to the ID
  • Second part of the API key refers to the secret ID

The DeliveryCheckout ID (used as the second part of the Identifier) is found under: Maintenance > DeliveryCheckout > Search

Checkout v2

Use the following credentials:

  • TMS: nShift Checkout(v2)
  • Identifier: Connection ID
    • The Connection ID is found under Connections
  • Key: Kustom Secret
    • The Kustom Secret is created from the Edit Connections page.
    • Press the “Create Kustom Secret” button, copy the generated Secret.
    • Don’t forget to press Save on the Connection - if this is not done, the Secret will not be saved.
