Partners
The catalogue of e-commerce platforms that ship a Kustom Checkout plugin — which platform starts onboarding where, who owns the plugin and which page to open next. Start here before you write any integration code.
Most Kustom merchants never call the API directly. They run on one of the thirty platforms below — WooCommerce, Magento, Centra, Litium and OXID among them — and install a plugin that does the integration for them. This page is the catalogue of those plugins. Find your platform in the table, note how activation starts on it and open the one page the row points at.
There are three ways a platform gets Kustom Checkout switched on, and knowing which one applies to you decides everything else. Either the platform starts your Kustom onboarding from inside its own admin, or you apply at Kustom first and paste the resulting credentials into the platform, or a partner does the technical setup for you. A handful of platforms have no plugin at all and you build against the API.
The three activation models
Section titled “The three activation models”Platform-led. You start the Kustom application from inside your store admin. The platform already knows about Kustom, sometimes with a demo configuration pre-installed. You never handle API credentials by hand — the platform fetches them for you once Kustom approves.
Kustom-led. You apply for a Kustom merchant account at kustom.co, complete KYC, generate
API credentials in the Kustom Portal and then paste those credentials into your platform’s
payment settings. This is the most common model and it’s described once, in full, on
Activate Kustom Checkout on your platform.
Partner-led. Same as Kustom-led up to the credentials, but a solution partner, the platform’s own team or your implementation project does the configuration. Your job is to get approved and hand over the credentials securely.

Four platforms have plugins big enough to need their own page — WooCommerce, Magento/Adobe Commerce, OXID eShop and PrestaShop. Everything else in the table shares one procedure, and that procedure carries a per-platform table of admin menu paths.
Partners that are not ecommerce platforms
Section titled “Partners that are not ecommerce platforms”Some partners plug into Kustom Checkout without being the store platform:
- Transport management systems feed live delivery options into the checkout through the Kustom Shipping Assistant. See Shipping partners for the connector catalogue, and Ingrid for the one connector with a field-level contract worth documenting.
- Junipeer reconciles Kustom settlement payouts into your accounting or ERP system. See Junipeer settlement reconciliation.
- Billie issues B2B invoice payments inside Kustom Checkout. See Billie for B2B payments.
Before you write integration code
Section titled “Before you write integration code”Check this table first. If your platform has a supported plugin, installing and configuring it is the whole integration, and the Checkout guides are then background reading rather than instructions. Reach for the API only when no plugin covers what you need, or when you’re building the platform integration itself — as on Brink Commerce, where the store’s backend creates the Kustom order directly.
If your platform is open source, read Open source platform responsibility before you go live. It sets out what Kustom warrants and what you own.
Using Kustom and payment method logos
Section titled “Using Kustom and payment method logos”Partners can download the Kustom partner marketing toolkit — logos, lockups, colors, messaging, product imagery and payment method icons, in Swedish, English, Norwegian and Finnish — from the partner marketing toolkit.
When you display a payment method logo or icon in an application, integration or your own documentation, you must follow the official brand guidelines of that payment provider, not just Kustom’s.

Section titled “Related”- Activate Kustom Checkout on your platform — the one procedure most platforms in the table share
- Authentication and environments — where the credentials a plugin asks for come from
- Create the order — the call a plugin makes on your behalf
- Integration models — decide between the full checkout, the hosted page and Elements
- Shipping partners — connect your transport system to the checkout
